True Balance Health Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' needs and formulating evidence-based treatment plans catered to each individual.
• Administering therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities to help clients achieve their mental health goals.
• Maintaining precise, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring data integrity and patient privacy.
• Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the highest standard of care for clients.
• Participating actively in case consultations and supervision meetings, contributing to the continuous quality improvement of our services.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, empowering them to navigate their treatment journeys.
• Staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Managing a full caseload of clients, ensuring effective treatment delivery while adhering to ethical standards established by licensing boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At True Balance Health Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depressive conditions, trauma responses, and relational difficulties. Our focus on inclusivity ensures that all clients feel welcomed and appropriately supported throughout their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various solution-focused therapy interventions and techniques.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong analytical skills and a capacity for critical thinking in clinical scenarios.
• A collaborative spirit, valuing the contributions of team members and fostering a positive working atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, especially in a community health or clinic-based setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and evidence-based therapeutic practice.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
