Job description

Setup Machinist - Mazak / Swiss

West Chester, PA

Hourly Rate: $27.00-$35.00

Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts (Weekend and split shift options potentially available)


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for running multiple machines simultaneously
  • Set up machines independently using setup sheets
  • Run first piece and confirm part meets print
  • Inspecting parts to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Following established programs and supporting daily product in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Operates and supports CNC machines producing high-precision medical device components
  • Responsible for reading blueprints and precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot basic issues and avoid crashes


Requirements

  • Experience with Mazak (Integrex, 5-axis) or Star Swiss machines
  • Experience supporting changeovers and production
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Must be able to operate multiple machines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
