Job description

Environmental Engineer ( Civil )

Woodbury, NJ

Starting Salary: $90,000-$120,000 (Based on experience)


Responsibilities

  • Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including: treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution systems, and collection systems
  • Proven ability and proficiency with interpreting and preparing engineering designs, plans and specifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying information to regulators, contractors, clients, and the public
  • Ability to work self-motivated and under light supervision in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Will join a team of engineers on a variety of exciting and dynamic municipal water and sewer projects

Requirements
  • Must have storm environmental or water and sewer engineering background
  • Water/Wastewater Design Engineer (5-7) years of experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or Engineer- in Training (EIT) advancing toward PE licensures
  • Must have EIT certification
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations and industry best practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
