Job description

Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Career Chemical Cleaner at our Fort Worth, TX plant!
As a member of the Chemical Cleaning team at Trinity, you will determine and complete the appropriate cleaning process for the product. You will handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials, including hazardous chemicals. The person in this position will apply knowledge of chemicals and cleaning procedures to assignments. Performs work that requires planning and judgment.
What you'll do:
• Purge surfaces with water and or non-hazardous chemicals.
• Train to operate hand-held blast.
• Learn details of the job, policies & processes.
• Follow all safety rules, practices, and procedures.
• Learn the process of determining and completing the appropriate cleaning process for product.
• Learn to handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials including hazardous chemicals.
• Learn to operate equipment and/or understand drawings and diagrams.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces with full hazmat gear.
• Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
• 0-3 months of related experience, such as chemical cleaning and working in a manufacturing environment.
• Have basic understanding of water blasting or abrasive blasting.
• Ability to learn and obtain technical certificates required.
• Ability to read or learn to read schematics and/or blueprints.
