Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate and understand each client's mental health status and emotional history.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that take into account each client's specific goals, challenges, and background.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, providing high-quality individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Monitor client progress through regular check-ins, adjusting treatment strategies as required to meet evolving needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
  • Keep up with detailed and secure client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards to ensure confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to establish comprehensive care plans.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to refine your skills and stay updated with the latest in mental health research.
  • Maintain adherence to ethical guidelines established by relevant licensing boards and mental health organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population seeking support for various mental health challenges. Clients may include adolescents facing anxiety, adults dealing with depression, or families navigating complex emotional dynamics. The role requires an empathetic approach to foster trust and open communication, ensuring that clients feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of active state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW).
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a proven ability in developing and executing therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • A compassionate and emotional intelligence-driven approach when engaging with clients.
  • Adept at independently managing caseloads while cooperating as part of a cohesive team.
  • Familiarity with current laws and ethical guidelines governing mental health practices.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and skill enhancement.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health services, with a focus on teletherapy preferred.
  • Experience in a clinical setting with a diverse client demographic.
  • Familiarity with various clinical assessment tools and therapeutic methodologies.
