We focus on a collaborative approach to mental health, fostering an environment where patients feel safe and supported. Our dedicated staff is composed of professionals from various backgrounds, all unified in their goal of enhancing the well-being of those we serve.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, enabling therapists to conduct sessions from home while still being integral members of our supportive team. Our remote work environment provides the flexibility needed to accommodate different schedules and reduces barriers to effective therapy. As part of a community-focused health clinic, you will engage in regular virtual meetings, team collaborations, and professional development opportunities tailored to elevate your practice.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LMFT, you will take on various responsibilities that directly impact patient care:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, using clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, considering their background and circumstances.
  • Lead therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and emotional growth.
  • Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with other specialists and refer clients to additional resources when required, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Participate in case management meetings to align therapeutic objectives with organizational goals and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Transitional Living Solutions, your clientele will encompass a diverse population facing a range of issues from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma. You will play a pivotal role in supporting families in crisis and individuals seeking help for behavioral issues or addiction, tailoring your approach to effectively address the multifaceted nature of their situations. Your ability to adapt treatment methodologies to meet the specific dynamics of family structures will be essential in your success.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practices related to mental health and family therapy.
  • Strong counseling techniques and interpersonal skills, skilled in motivating clients toward achieving their therapeutic goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, reinforcing collaborative team dynamics.
Preferred Experience

While qualifications are paramount, we value experience that enhances our mission:

  • Experience in addiction counseling or familiarity with substance abuse treatment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience working in community health settings or with non-profit organizations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms to facilitate online therapy sessions.
