Work Environment

As a remote position, our mental health counselors have the freedom to provide therapy from the comfort of their own home, utilizing our state-of-the-art telehealth systems. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients, thereby identifying their specific needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ therapeutic goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and solutions.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions for adult clients through virtual platforms, employing techniques designed to foster personal growth and resilience.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring clients receive timely support during critical moments.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in mental health, enhancing your skills and effectiveness as a therapist.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the organization to share insights and strategies that improve client care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work primarily with adult clients from various backgrounds who are seeking assistance with mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to stress management and relationship issues. By offering services via telehealth, we can adapt to the needs of our clients, providing them with the flexibility they need to engage in therapy. Every therapist plays a crucial role in helping clients achieve their personal mental health goals and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with clients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities that enhance client scheduling and session delivery.
• A clean disciplinary record, with no history of actions taken against your professional license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual clients’ needs.
• Proven background in providing virtual therapy or telehealth services, with familiarity in digital platforms for mental health counseling.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and management.
• A strong understanding of diverse therapeutic modalities that cater to a variety of client concerns.
