Work Environment

As a remote position, our therapists enjoy the autonomy to manage their own schedules while utilizing a top-tier virtual practice platform. This outpatient office model allows you to conduct video and text sessions with clients, enhancing both therapist and client experiences. All clients are carefully screened to ensure that therapists are matched with stable adults seeking low-acuity behavioral health support.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Provide individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, focusing on enhancing clients' mental health and emotional resilience.
• Guide clients through discussions about their emotions and experiences, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
• Evaluate each client's mental health condition, employing evidence-based approaches to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and needs.
• Act as an advocate for your clients, helping them identify and define their therapeutic objectives to guide the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will consist primarily of stable adults with low acuity issues, ensuring a therapeutic focus on manageable challenges rather than severe mental health crises. You will have the flexibility to select your preferred demographic, allowing you to work with clients that best fit your experience and comfort level. Additionally, you will benefit from a consistent stream of referrals, removing the burden of marketing yourself.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current, unrestricted licensure to practice independently in California – LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Note: No limited or provisional licenses will be considered.
• Strong ability to assess client needs and formulate effective, solution-based treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills to effectively connect with clients.
• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms necessary for remote therapy delivery.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the qualifications listed above, experience in an outpatient therapy setting and familiarity with telehealth platforms will be advantageous. A demonstrated history of working with diverse patient populations will complement your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

Your expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on your commitment and the number of hours worked. Additional benefits include:
