Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through secure video chat platforms, optimizing their mental health outcomes.
• Facilitate open dialogues, encouraging clients to share their emotions and experiences, fostering self-insight and relational understanding.
• Actively advocate for clients by helping them define personal goals and develop actionable plans to achieve those goals.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and create tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches derived from your clinical expertise.
• Provide ongoing support and adjustments to treatment as clients progress in their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Top Point Counseling Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele, primarily comprising stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns. All clients are thoroughly screened to ensure they are appropriate for therapeutic services, which helps cultivate a manageable caseload. Additionally, you have the ability to select your preferred demographics, allowing for tailored therapeutic relationships that match both your expertise and comfort level. You will receive unlimited referrals, eliminating the need to engage in client acquisition efforts.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current valid license to practice independently, including LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• The ability to conduct professional evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on clinical assessment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature to effectively support clients.
• Proficient computer skills, enabling effective use of our digital therapy platform and client management systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous telehealth experience will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms and technology-enhanced therapy practices will enhance your effectiveness within our remote work environment.
