Pay Range: $22-$24, based on experience 
Location: South Bend, IN (On-Site) 

About the Role

Tire Rack is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Dealer Communication Specialist I to support our TR Dealer Service team by building and strengthening relationships with current, inactive, and prospective dealer customers. This role is responsible for educating customers on Tire Rack programs, promotions, and services while identifying opportunities to expand our dealer network and strengthen customer engagement.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with a passion for relationship building and customer service. They demonstrate strong organizational skills, take initiative, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while representing Tire Rack with professionalism.

What You'll DoCustomer Outreach & Relationship Building
  • Conduct outbound prospecting calls to prospective and inactive dealer customers to introduce Tire Rack's products, services, and programs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with dealer customers through professional, informative, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer engagement and support business growth.
Program & Promotional Support
  • Educate customers on Tire Rack programs, services, and partnership opportunities.
  • Communicate sales promotions, program updates, and other important information to corporate partners and key dealer customers.
  • Answer customer questions and provide accurate information to support informed purchasing decisions.
Sales Support & Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive timely and accurate information.
  • Support departmental initiatives and contribute to achieving team performance goals.
Team Support
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in direct sales, customer service, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and foster customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inside sales, dealer relations, or account support.
  • Experience in the automotive, retail, or distribution industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM or customer relationship management systems.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities to expand customer relationships and support business growth.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
