Work Environment

This position is conducted entirely via telehealth, enabling a flexible work schedule and the ability to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with a diverse group of mental health professionals, including social workers and psychiatrists, in a virtual setting that promotes continual learning and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological statuses, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' individual goals, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or others as appropriate.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions and group therapy, focusing on fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages openness and healing.
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adapting treatment plans based on their evolving needs, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress or mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and referral to additional resources when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines established by relevant licensing boards.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and participating in case consultations to ensure comprehensive care and outcomes for clients.
• Stay informed of the latest research, treatment methodologies, and regulatory changes impacting mental health practices.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and supervision to enhance your clinical skills and maintain licensure requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Our clients come from various backgrounds and life experiences, making it essential for our counselors to approach each case with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, with qualifications such as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and an understanding of various therapeutic frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients and team members.
• A compassionate and client-centered mindset, with a commitment to enhancing the well-being of those seeking support.
• Adeptness at working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in providing mental health counseling or therapy services.
• Experience with telehealth services and virtual care delivery is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic models and both individual and group therapy approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary range of USD $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
