Work Environment

The Occupational Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each resident's physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, utilizing standardized evaluation tools and individualized interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at helping residents achieve their therapeutic goals, adjusting protocols as needed based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Lead therapeutic activities that enhance the functional abilities of residents, such as adaptive skills training, fine motor skills exercises, and cognitive remediation.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to create a holistic approach to care that addresses all aspects of a resident's health and wellness.
• Document and track progress meticulously, using electronic health records to maintain detailed accounts of residents' improvements and responding to any changes in their conditions.
• Educate residents and their families on strategies and activities that promote ongoing therapy and rehabilitation, empowering them to engage in their care.
• Ensure all practices adhere to regulatory guidelines and professional standards, upholding the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with elderly residents recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic illnesses that affect their daily functioning. Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and education.
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Therapy Link Solutions offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
