Periscope Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our expert team in our Leesburg, Virginia location. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Leesburg, Virginia. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, with physical therapists working alongside skilled assistants and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive and effective treatment plans. Our center is equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology to facilitate advanced rehabilitative care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Periscope, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Implementing and directing individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring physical function, promoting independence, and enhancing overall well-being.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional and physical abilities, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functions.
• Leading and supervising physical therapy assistants in the execution of care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations.
• Administering essential therapeutic treatments, including manual and non-manual exercises, traction, and massage, tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, participating in case evaluations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of overall treatment strategies.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously through clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educating patients and their families on effective home exercises and the proper use of therapeutic devices, fostering independence and confidence in managing their health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists work with a diverse patient population, ranging from those recovering from surgery or injury to individuals managing chronic pain or mobility issues. You will have the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with clients while helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals, promoting not only their physical restoration but also enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapist license in the State of Virginia, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to engaging patients and their families in the care process.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing multiple patient schedules efficiently.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with exposure to home care or rehabilitation environments. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate strong decision-making skills is essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
