Position Overview

Talkiatry Mental and Wellness Center is excited to announce openings for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LPC, LIMFT, LISW) to provide comprehensive mental health support remotely. Our organization is committed to making a significant impact on the lives of our clients through accessible telehealth services. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus and additional benefits.

About the Organization

At Talkiatry, we prioritize mental wellness and strive to provide high-quality care to our clients from the comfort of their homes. We offer a supportive work environment where licensed professionals can thrive in their careers while offering essential services to those in need. Our team consists of well-trained clinicians who are passionate about fostering mental health and wellness.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing counselors to work from anywhere, which promotes a healthy work-life balance. You will join a cohesive and dynamic team that utilizes cutting-edge telehealth technology to provide counseling to clients efficiently and effectively. Our easy-to-navigate, all-in-one platform reduces administrative burden, enabling our counselors to focus on what they do best—helping clients achieve life-enhancing results.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting compassionate and ethical counseling sessions with individuals via video chat, ensuring a secure and supportive environment.
  • Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to ensure effective individual therapy sessions.
  • Crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to the distinct needs and goals of each client, taking into consideration their unique circumstances.
  • Facilitating client self-discovery by guiding them to develop insights into their experiences, emotions, and relationships.
  • Monitoring client progress against established goals within the treatment plan and assisting them in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our emphasis on low-acuity cases allows counselors to develop meaningful therapeutic relationships, focusing on personal growth and improved quality of life for each client.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following credentials and skills:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • A current and valid license to practice independently as one of the following: LPC, LMFT, or LISW. Please note that provisional or limited licenses are not acceptable.
  • No history of disciplinary actions affecting licensure.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a sympathetic approach to client care.
  • Strong computer literacy and adaptability to technology-based tools for delivering telehealth services.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with 2+ years of experience in a mental health counseling role or those with a specialization in telehealth services will stand out in the application process. Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year based on hours worked, our compensation package includes:

  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
  • Weekly direct deposit for timely and consistent pay.
  • Monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors to support your health and well-being.
  • The opportunity to increase your income through caseload expansion without the hassle of client acquisition.
