Position Overview

Talkiatry Mental and Wellness Center is seeking dedicated, fully licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our innovative telehealth team. This full-time remote position offers an exceptional opportunity for licensed clinicians to provide compassionate care to adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. With a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, therapists will have the flexibility to manage their schedules while delivering high-quality mental health services.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and compassionate individual mental health counseling sessions via video conferencing technology.
  • Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment approaches to develop personalized treatment plans for each client.
  • Foster insightful discussions that help clients better understand their emotions, thoughts, and relationship dynamics.
  • Regularly monitor client progress throughout their treatment plans, adapting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Support clients in learning and implementing healthy coping mechanisms that enhance their daily functioning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapists at Talkiatry primarily work with stable, low-acuity adult clients who present with a diverse range of mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues. Our approach is centered on building supportive therapeutic relationships that empower clients to reach their personal goals and improve their quality of life through targeted dialogue and interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Current licensure is required as one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • No disciplinary actions or limitations on your licensure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a genuine empathy for clients' experiences.
  • Strong computer literacy competencies to efficiently navigate clinical documentation and virtual counseling tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a telehealth setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new hires.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and online therapy platforms.
