Job Title: Sr UX Designer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6-8 Months Plus Possible Extension
Required:
Must be from SVA, Parsons, NYU or GA UX School/Program
The UX team leads and plans design for the all the global websites at Nuveen. We are responsible for deploying new designs for the 3 different sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in finance
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Design, etc.)
- Experience working on hard enterprise problems as well as the ability to develop solutions that meet technical requirements
- Effective visual design skills
- Excellent strategic and critical thinking mindset
- Must be from SVA, Parsons, NYU or GA UX School/Program
Core Responsibilities
- Create concrete product experiences and UX solutions across Nuveen's global website portfolio.Â
- The person will be tasked with creating new design solutions, enhancing existing ones, , looking at pages and recommending page hierarchy,Â
educating internal stakeholders on using our design system (or creating documentation) and helping maintain the design system across all sites.
- Work cross-functionally with peers across Product Management, Engineering, UX Research and across team boundaries to strategically support your design choices.Â
- Deliver compelling design solutions and present them to stakeholders/senior leadership.
