Job description

Job Summary:
Sutherland is seeking a Lead - Account Management (SME) to join their team. The role involves overseeing the payments industry, focusing on card products and transaction lifecycle, while ensuring compliance and regulatory aspects are met. Responsibilities include collaborating on product requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications, and bridging communication between business and technology stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Function payments industry, card products, and transaction lifecycle
• Retail card programs and aviation-related card programs (AIRCard)
• Regulatory and compliance aspects in payment
• POS systems, merchant onboarding, settlement processes
• Function of systems similar to those in the architecture (Azure-hosted solutions, SQL-based systems, API-driven platforms)
• Collaborate on product requirements, feature mapping, and system migration planning
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Identifying gaps in current vs. target-state product features
• Communicate bridge business & technology stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years relevant experience
• Proven track record in enterprise-scale payment systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Comfortable working in hybrid business/technical discussions
• Availability to participate fully during the workshop sessions
