Key Responsibilities
  • Offer high-quality telehealth counseling services, ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Utilize cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) to manage client information, treatment plans, and session documentation efficiently.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions to address mental health challenges and to establish coping strategies.
  • Assess and develop tailored treatment plans for patients, targeting issues related to mental health, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when necessary to facilitate comprehensive care and continuity of services for clients.
  • Ensure client safety and confidentiality throughout all interactions, adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. By utilizing a holistic approach to care, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, offering personalized strategies and interventions based on their unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required to ensure foundational knowledge and expertise.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, complying with state regulations.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong technological skills, including proficiency in using computers for telehealth sessions and managing electronic health records.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently, demonstrating organizational skills and self-motivation in a remote environment.
  • Must be willing to clear a background check prior to employment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in managing a caseload of clients including conducting assessments, developing care plans, and documenting progress effectively.
  • Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., substance use counseling, child and adolescent therapy) are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
