Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings to identify clients' challenges and establish personalized treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies, adapting your therapeutic approach based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster skill development and coping strategies.
• Engage in regular collaboration with fellow treatment team members to discuss client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize the efficacy of care.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, facilitating a deeper understanding of mental health issues and encouraging active involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain thorough, clear, and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in supporting clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, enhancing your cultural competence and professional development in a meaningful way.

Qualifications

• A current and valid professional license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a relevant field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated specialized training in mental health counseling, including advanced assessment techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for a variety of mental health conditions.
• Proven therapeutic skills, with the ability to develop rapport and inspire hope in clients throughout their recovery journeys.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills necessary for working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth services is highly desirable, given the remote nature of this position.
• Extensive experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals facing substance abuse challenges, may be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary between $80,000 and $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
