Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, ensuring thorough screenings that inform subsequent treatment plans.
  • Design personalized treatment approaches that align with each client’s unique challenges, aspirations, and goals for recovery.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster personal growth and resilience.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide a holistic and integrated approach to mental health care.
  • Educate clients’ families about mental health issues, promoting understanding and building supportive systems that contribute to the recovery journey.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and other regulatory requirements while ensuring ethical standards are met.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. The clients you serve may come from various backgrounds, providing opportunities to enhance your cultural competence and adaptability in therapeutic practices.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology.
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated competence in mental health counseling through specialized training or extensive experience.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices applicable to various mental health disorders.
  • Exceptional counseling and therapeutic skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients toward their recovery goals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, fostering effective collaborations with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling modalities.
  • Background in working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or those with substance use disorders.
