Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and therapeutic interviews to inform personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique objectives and challenges faced by each client, ensuring that these plans are evidence-based and aligned with best practices in mental health care.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities that resonate best with the individuals we serve, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to enhance the continuity of care and integrate various aspects of treatment.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, promoting skills and strategies that assist in the recovery process and deepen their understanding of mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards pertinent to mental health services.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology is required.

• Demonstrated experience or specialized training in mental health counseling practices, particularly with diverse populations.
• An understanding of evidence-based treatment methodologies and proficiency in applying these practices to address various mental health disorders.
• Strong therapeutic skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients throughout their healing journey, adapting approaches as needed to best fit individual situations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community health settings or similar environments where therapy was delivered remotely.
