Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather comprehensive client histories, identifying mental health concerns and relationship dynamics.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions focusing on psychoeducation, relationship counseling, and resolution of interpersonal conflicts.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring measurable outcomes and progress tracking.
• Regularly document patient progress in adherence to clinic policies and standards, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate care and make appropriate referrals as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of challenges. This includes relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. By employing various therapeutic modalities such as structural, strategic, and narrative therapy, you will help clients develop healthier communication patterns and coping mechanisms.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Valid MFT license in the state of Maryland.
• Proficiency in one or more therapeutic modalities relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Strong clinical experience, with a minimum of one year of post-licensure preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual communication skills are highly valued, as they enhance our ability to serve a diverse client population.
• Experience in community health settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
