Stone Point Behavioral Health Services is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team of professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based approaches to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement specific therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized modalities that align with client needs.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals through regular case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and community resources to foster a deeper understanding of the therapeutic process.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the field of mental health to ensure the use of best practices in client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health conditions. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients of varying backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop tailored interventions.
  • A collaborative spirit, valuing teamwork while maintaining individual accountability.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in remote counseling or telehealth platforms are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and an understanding of the challenges faced in virtual therapy settings will be viewed favorably.
