Job description

Hambleton Handyman is looking for a meticulous administrative assistant.
You are likely to thrive in this position if you:


  • Have passionate attention to detail and a strong love of accuracy.
  • Have good time management skillsand are comfortable multi-tasking-you will be called upon to accomplish a wide variety of time-sensitive administrative tasks.
  • Can communicate well and don't mind having difficult conversations
  • Are a quick learner particularly when it comes to software systems.


As the administrative assistant, you would:


  • Review invoices, receipts, purchase records, etc. to identify and fix discrepancies
  • Assist other staff members answer questions relating to accounting or billing.
  • Charge clients' cards, collect outstanding payments, and resolve clients' questions about their bills.
  • Keep an eye out for ways to improve the efficiency of Hambleton Handyman's processes.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as depositing checks, processing payments, filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, generating reports, etc.
