About The Role

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

Reports to: Manager, IT Security


A successful IT Security Analyst will provide Business and IT Security analysis services for stakeholders. The Security Analyst will work with teams to uncover security and compliance requirements, gap analysis and work with IT on IT security projects and initiatives for Corporate IT Security.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provides security analyst services for PayByPhone teams
  • Works with compliance to ensure Corporate IT and IT Security are compliant
  • Participates in business and technical security requirements
  • Maintains and enhances operational security controls
  • Monitors environment for information security concerns
  • Participates in incident response planning and execution
  • Works with IT on IT Security projects
  • Contributes to information security policy and processes


Key Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Post secondary education or combination of experience and capability
  • Certifications in A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP, PCIP would be an asset
  • Experience in General IT projects and common technologies related to security, antivirus, firewalls, and web filtering
  • Windows Environments - Server and Desktop 2000+
  • Linux experience a big plus
  • Any programming experience a big plus
  • Team player required, any formal team membership training is a plus


What We Offer

Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 CAD. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.

Vacation: All permanent full-time employees start with 4 weeks of vacation per year.
