Position Overview

Starting Point Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position will play a crucial role in providing exceptional mental health care to individuals in need. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your home. Our work setting involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals, including psychologists and primary care providers, specifically within our Detox Center program. You will utilize digital tools to engage with patients and track their progress, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your clinical training to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral activation to enhance client outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress consistently, employing both in-person and virtual strategies to support the treatment process effectively.
• Collaborate with Walmart Health & Wellness clinicians and other healthcare team members to foster a cohesive and integrated treatment approach.
• Assist in medication management by closely observing clients’ adherence and the effects of prescribed medications, reporting findings to appropriate medical professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking detoxification services and those experiencing various mental health challenges. The ideal LCSW is not only adept at clinical tasks but also sensitive to the unique needs and backgrounds of each patient, applying culturally competent practices to improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New York or the applicable state of your practice.
• At least one year of experience providing therapeutic services in a mental health setting as a licensed clinician.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, or working with diverse populations in mental health will be given preferential consideration. Familiarity with integrated care settings where collaboration with other health professionals is essential is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Your annual salary will range from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and you will also be eligible for an annual incentive bonus. The comprehensive benefits package includes:
