Starting Point Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team as a full-time mental health professional. This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to perform your duties from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Utilize your education and experience to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, establishing independent diagnoses that guide treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on their unique needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based behavioral interventions, employing techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, solution-focused therapy, and problem-solving treatments.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals within various settings, including primary care providers and psychiatrists, to create an integrated and holistic treatment approach for patients.
• Continuously track patient progress through systematic monitoring and assessment, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
• Support medication management in collaboration with prescribing medical professionals, contributing to adherence monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of psychotropic medications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with a variety of mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief, particularly within our hospice center environment. You will provide compassionate support to both patients and families, focusing on enhancing quality of life and delivering care with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

To be considered for the LCSW position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working as an independently licensed therapist.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hospice care settings or those familiar with end-of-life care processes. Additionally, familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital health tools is highly desirable, reflecting our commitment to utilizing technology to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
