Job description
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Vascular
Join our team as a skilled Vascular Sonographer, where you will use advanced ultrasound technology to assess and diagnose conditions affecting the vascular system. This role involves working closely with physicians to provide critical imaging for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to evaluate blood flow and detect blockages, clots, or other abnormalities in arteries and veins.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort during exams.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring the accuracy of imaging results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and assist in developing treatment plans.
- Document findings accurately in patient records and update medical histories as needed.
- The role is based in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or diagnostic labs equipped with specialized vascular imaging technology.
- This position requires attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills when working with patients in sensitive healthcare situations.
