Work Environment

This position is designed for remote work, providing you with the flexibility to manage your workload from the comfort of your own home or workspace. You will engage with clients through online therapy sessions and utilize various digital tools and platforms to deliver effective care. Even though the work is conducted remotely, collaboration with your peers and supervisors will remain robust through regular virtual meetings and case reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the clinical care for patients, ensuring best practices and proficient application of therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, utilizing established assessment methods to gauge progress.
• Maintain an active caseload of diverse clients, addressing a wide range of psychological needs and concerns.
• Utilize advanced clinical assessment skills to collaborate effectively with patients and their families, developing and implementing meaningful treatment plans.
• Exhibit proficiency in crisis intervention, providing immediate support and therapeutic interventions during high-stress situations.
• Create comprehensive documentation including treatment logs, strategy outlines, and progress summaries, adjusting care plans as necessary to reflect the evolving needs of clients.
• Evaluate the mental health needs of patients through thorough assessments, incorporating findings into their holistic care plans.
• Educate clients and families on mental health resources and coping strategies to support their continued growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary focus will be on a varied group of clients facing psychological challenges. This may include individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma histories, and relationship issues, among other mental health concerns. Your empathy, active listening skills, and innovative approach to therapy will make a significant difference in their healing journeys.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required to ensure competency in addressing complex issues.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly desirable.
• Strong familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices will be an advantage.
• Experience conducting mental health evaluations and using assessment tools to inform treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package is competitive, offering a salary ranging from $90,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:

• A sign-on bonus of up to $1,500.
• Flexible work schedule with the option for both part-time and full-time roles.
• Potential bonuses up to $2,000, based on state licensure.
