This position allows for a flexible work setting with a remote work option available through our outpatient office in Buffalo, New York. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the clinical care for patients, ensuring proficient service delivery and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Conduct and document detailed assessments for individuals and groups, followed by the preparation of comprehensive treatment plans and progress logs.
  • Manage a diverse caseload dealing with a range of psychological conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.
  • Employ advanced assessment techniques to evaluate patients and their families, working collaboratively with them to develop and execute effective resolution plans.
  • Utilize clinical skills to provide therapeutic interventions, crisis counseling, and support to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
  • Offer tailored counseling services such as individual, conjoint, or family therapy, ensuring that interventions align with client-specific needs and treatment goals.
  • Regularly assess the evolving psychological needs of patients in conjunction with primary care providers; develop and modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations that are integral to the overall care structure and facilitate seamless integration of services.
  • Documentation and record-keeping are key responsibilities and include strategy outlines, progress summaries, and amendments as necessary.
  • Facilitate educational and supportive programs for patients and their families to reinforce treatment plans and promote mental wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we support include individuals from various backgrounds facing diverse psychological needs. Our approach is to meet each patient where they are, providing them with the resources, counseling, and therapeutic interventions necessary for achieving personal growth and independence. Qualifications
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required.
  • A valid license in mental health counseling (LMHC), social work (LCSW), marriage and family therapy (LMFT), or psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential for this position.
Preferred Experience

Experience working in outpatient mental health services or teletherapy environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be beneficial, as well as familiarity with electronic health record systems and remote counseling technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer substantial benefits that include:
