Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to the psychological needs of clients, using evidence-based modalities.
• Effectively assess clients' mental health needs, collaborating with them and their families to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, exhibiting proficiency in crisis intervention, therapeutic techniques, and counseling strategies.
• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and maintain detailed documentation of treatment logs, progress summaries, and care plans.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to address crisis situations and develop strategies for both clients and their families.
• Facilitate educational and supportive programs for clients and their families, addressing common mental health issues and promoting awareness.
• Regularly revise treatment strategies based on client progress and evolving needs, ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a range of psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Our clients may include individuals from various age groups and backgrounds, which enriches the therapeutic experience and encourages holistic care. You will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve meaningful and lasting personal growth.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must possess an active and relevant license: LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or PsyD (Doctor of Psychology).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is essential, demonstrating proficiency in a therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health settings or clinics preferred for a better understanding of diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital therapy tools is an advantage, given the remote nature of the role.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a salary range of $90,000 to $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise. Additional benefits include:

• Sign-On Bonus of up to $1,500.
• Flexible scheduling, with options for 5 to 40 hours per week.
• Performance-based bonuses, potentially adding up to $2,000, dependent on state licensure.
