Work Environment

This role allows you to work remotely while contributing to a welcoming and collaborative team atmosphere. You will enjoy the flexibility of a work-from-home setting, focusing on clients' needs from the comfort of your own space. Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that are reflective of their unique needs, treatment goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while adapting methods to fit each client's situation.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to integrated mental health care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continually refine your clinical skills and treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices.
• Serve as a strong advocate for clients, promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals who experience mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our client base is diverse, encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, which allows for a rich therapeutic practice and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a broad spectrum of lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods tailored for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have substantial experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as telehealth platforms. Experience in group therapy facilitation and linkages to community resources can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, you will benefit from:
