Job description

Our mission: eliminating every barrier to mental health.

Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We're building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.
Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.
As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.

The Senior Implementation Manager, Strategic Partnerships, reporting to the Director, Implementation, will independently lead the onboarding and launch of Spring Health's most complex strategic partnerships. These partnerships may include integration, referral, reseller, payer or carrier, wellbeing rewards, and other partner models. You will translate the partnership strategy into a clear joint operating model and manage delivery from the point at which scope and solution design are defined through launch, stabilization, and transition to steady-state ownership. You will partner closely with a Solutions Engineer to ensure requirements, scope, and solution decisions are sufficiently defined before execution, and with a Technical Implementation Manager on data integrations, testing, and technical readiness. This role is designed for a strategic project leader who brings strong implementation discipline, sound judgment amid ambiguity, and the influence to align stakeholders across multiple organizations.

What you'll do:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for complex, high-impact strategic partnership implementations, independently establishing the delivery approach, governance, milestones, and path to launch.
  • Serve as the primary implementation contact and trusted delivery partner across Spring Health and partner teams, building strong relationships with senior business, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate the commercial partnership into a practical joint operating model, including roles, handoffs, decision rights, communication cadences, escalation paths, launch criteria, and measures of success.
  • Partner closely with the Solutions Engineer to confirm that requirements, solution design, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and change-control expectations are clear before and throughout delivery.
  • Partner closely with the Technical Implementation Manager to coordinate data integrations, technical dependencies, testing, issue resolution, and readiness without taking ownership away from the technical workstream lead.
  • Manage integrated project plans and interdependent business, operational, and technical workstreams across both organizations, synthesizing status, decisions, dependencies, and risks for delivery teams and senior leaders.Anticipate partnership launch risks, clarify ownership when responsibilities are ambiguous, make timely decisions with incomplete information, and drive mitigation and escalation through resolution.
  • Adapt the implementation approach to different partner models while converting recurring patterns, requirements, and risks into scalable operating models, playbooks, templates, and governance standards.
  • Use data, automation, and AI-enabled practices to improve portfolio visibility, execution quality, decision-making, and the scalability of strategic partnership implementations.

What success looks like:

  • Strategic partnerships launch on time with a clear joint operating model, accountable owners, and no surprises.Spring Health and partner stakeholders have trusted relationships, clear governance, and shared confidence in launch readiness and ongoing operations.
  • Business, operational, and technical dependencies are validated, tested, and transitioned cleanly into steady-state ownership.
  • Time to first partner and member value is reduced while scope, quality, partner experience, and risk are managed thoughtfully.Risks and decision points are surfaced early, resolved with sound judgment, and communicated through concise, executive-ready updates.
  • Repeatable playbooks and operating standards improve the efficiency, quality, predictability, and scalability of future partnership launches.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience in implementation, strategic project or program management, professional services, partner operations, or a related field, including independently leading complex cross-functional launches.

Experience onboarding and operationalizing strategic partnerships, such as integration, referral, reseller, payer or carrier, wellbeing rewards, channel, or other ecosystem partnerships.

Experience translating commercial agreements and solution designs into joint operating models, implementation plans, governance, standard operating procedures, and scalable playbooks.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate business and technical workstreams in partnership with solutions engineering, technical implementation, product, engineering, operations, commercial, and partner stakeholders.

Advanced experience with customer relationship management and project management tools, such as Salesforce and Rocketlane, plus a track record of using data, automation, or AI to improve execution and decision-making.

Strong analytical, listening, facilitation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate ambiguity into clear recommendations and decisions.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple organizations, establish accountability without formal authority, and maintain momentum through complex handoffs and dependencies.

Sound judgment in ambiguous or evolving situations, with the ability to determine an approach, make timely decisions, and own outcomes while respecting the accountability of subject-matter experts.

High integrity, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, humility, resourcefulness, ambition, professionalism, and a proactive approach.

A deep passion for transforming mental healthcare and eliminating barriers to care.

Nice to have:

Experience in HealthTech, employee benefits, mental health, payer or carrier partnerships, reseller or referral models, wellbeing rewards, APIs, or data integrations.
