Spring Edge Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients through telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based screening tools to understand their mental health needs and personal objectives.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, addressing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress, using tailored therapeutic techniques.
• Provide couples and family therapy sessions to navigate relationship dynamics, improve communication, and resolve conflicts in a safe online environment.
• Develop customized treatment plans for each client, setting clear objectives and outlining specific interventions that align with their unique situations and goals.
• Offer crisis intervention for clients facing immediate mental health challenges, ensuring timely support and appropriate resources.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and community resources to foster empowerment and resilience.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with legal standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing the counseling profession, focusing on client confidentiality, informed consent, and culturally competent care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Spring Edge, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationship challenges. Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with eligibility to provide remote services in Texas.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise and proficiency in delivering effective counseling services in a telehealth setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, establishing rapport with clients and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Empathy, ethical professionalism, and cultural sensitivity are crucial to ensure effective therapy and client engagement.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth services strongly preferred, including familiarity with virtual counseling best practices.
• Background in working with diverse populations, including variation in age, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and life experiences.
• Specialization in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
