Associate or Full Professor of Electrical Engineering
Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty
Spring Arbor University is seeking an individual with teaching and administrative experience to continue to build our undergraduate Engineering program. The position will begin in the fall of 2026.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The School of Engineering at Spring Arbor University (SAU) invites applicants for a tenure-track position in the field of Electrical Engineering with potential appointment as the Department Chair of Electrical Engineering. SAU offers BS degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Teaching duties include core engineering courses and upper division courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate level, development of scholarly endeavors, innovative curriculum development, advising students, and serving on university committees. Individuals with specializations in Electrical manufacturing, Radar and communications systems, and Power generation are especially encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Previous academic administrative experience is a plus. Professional experience in the field of electrical engineering is also preferred, as is a successful record of teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about academic excellence and about preparing students to impact the world for Jesus Christ within the vocation of engineering.
Spring Arbor University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is located on a beautiful campus in south central Michigan.
