- Provide inclusive, developmentally appropriate support that considers the needs of diverse student populations.
Quad-Based Engagement and Programming
- Support and contribute to quad-based initiatives such as orientation sessions, academic workshops, and community-building events.
- Collaborate with faculty-in-residence, peer mentors, and faculty fellows to create programming aligned with quad themes and goals.
- May teach a .5-credit course (e.g., first-year seminar or reflective advising course) as part of the residential experience.
Institutional Collaboration and Coordination
- Work collaboratively with Academic Deans, Senior Quad Advisors, and campus offices (e.g., Global Education, Career Center, Student Affairs) to coordinate advising and support.
- Participate in regular team meetings and cross-functional training to ensure consistent, high-quality advising services.
- Share insights and trends with advising leadership to inform continuous improvement of the advising model.
Professional Development and Administrative Duties (5%)
- Participate in professional development activities and advising-related training.
