Operations Associate

As an integral member of our esteemed team, the Operations Associate plays a vital role in upholding the impeccable standards of sterility, processes, and presentation that define our clinic. Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, this individual will contribute to the seamless functioning of our facility and the unparalleled patient experience we provide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meticulous cleaning and sterilization of surgical instrumentation
  • Precise preparation of surgical assemblies
  • Impeccable organization and replenishment of treatment areas
  • Expert handling and processing of materials, including those managed by external vendors
  • Efficient receiving, verification, and organization of incoming shipments
  • Safe and compliant management of clinic operations
  • Diligent maintenance of equipment
  • Accurate record-keeping and documentation
  • Collaborative teamwork and effective communication
  • Prompt reporting of facility and equipment concerns
  • Active participation in staff meetings and professional development trainings
  • Mentorship and training of fellow team members
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in small groups
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish highly desired)
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed and capable of independent work
  • Keen attention to detail and unwavering precision
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload
  • Unwavering commitment to reproductive autonomy and patient-centered care
  • Native speakers of Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, French, and Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • Empathetic and patient-focused demeanor
  • Knowledge of the political landscape surrounding abortion care (preferred)
  • Prior experience in abortion care or reproductive health (strongly preferred)

Physical and Work Environment:

  • The position necessitates physical stamina, the ability to maintain an accelerated pace at times, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and cleaning agents is inherent to this role.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking are required.
  • Lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies is essential.
  • Adherence to mandatory vaccination policy is a condition of employment (subject to accommodation).
  • The ability to operate under pressure and manage competing priorities is crucial.
  • Moderate lifting may be required.
