Veteran Driver – Medical Transportation
Location: Henrico, VA (Close to Henrico Doctors)
Company: AAA Plus Transportation Service
Position Type: Full-Time

AAA Plus Transportation Service in Richmond is seeking dedicated Veterans to join our team as Medical Transportation Drivers. In this role, you’ll ensure clients are transported safely, comfortably, and punctually to their medical appointments. We provide company vehicles—no personal car required—and expect a strong commitment to timeliness and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and follow efficient driving routes based on traffic and road conditions.
  • Pick up clients at scheduled locations and times.
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage or mobility equipment.
  • Monitor traffic and weather updates to adjust routes as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comfort of seats, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
  • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance and report any issues.
  • Perform car washes and detailing to keep vehicles in top condition.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a professional driver (military or civilian).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Corrected visual acuity of at least 20/50.
  • Familiarity with GPS and local roadways.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Professional, courteous, and calm under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends.
  • Punctuality is a must on time, every time.
