Position Overview

The South Spring Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote setting. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families. As a key member of our outpatient team, you will assess clients’ mental health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions that foster emotional well-being and resilience.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility in your work schedule while allowing you to connect with patients through virtual platforms. The outpatient office setting ensures you will engage directly with clients primarily via teletherapy, maintained by advanced digital platforms designed to support secure, confidential communication. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to analyze clients’ mental health issues, formulate clinical diagnoses, and create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy, as well as group sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions) suited to individual client needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients facing acute psychological distress, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and diagnostic evaluations in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and community resource professionals to facilitate comprehensive care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, potential treatment paths, and community resources while advocating for clients’ needs and rights.
• Engage in continued professional development activities including workshops and training to remain current with mental health best practices and treatment innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Your therapeutic efforts will empower clients to overcome challenges, develop coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington State.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
• Possess robust clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to provide effective mental health evaluations.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport with clients and effectively collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while also being a constructive team member within the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional growth.

While preferred experience includes working in a clinical outpatient setting with diverse populations, we also welcome applications from talented individuals who wish to grow and develop their skills in this environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, new employees will be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Our benefits package includes:
