Skill Ability Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our committed team in Aurora, Colorado. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, employing comprehensive assessment techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, facilitating informed decision-making and active participation in the treatment process.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on regular assessments and feedback.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and deliver the best possible care.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance treatment approaches and foster teamwork.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting stigma reduction and equitable access to mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client base experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele encompasses individuals from different backgrounds and age groups, highlighting the importance of approaching each case with cultural competency and a deep understanding of their unique challenges.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Possession of a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor to create a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Effective organizational skills to manage a caseload efficiently and adhere to administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with clients dealing with mood disorders is highly valued, especially in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT.
• Prior experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and integrated care models.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
