Skill Ability Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique goals, needs, and preferences, utilizing frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a deeper understanding and encouraging active participation in the therapeutic process.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care for clients, addressing co-occurring issues holistically.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance your therapeutic approach.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance collective knowledge within the organization.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, addressing stigma and ensuring they receive the support they require.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and related conditions. This role requires an understanding of how these disorders affect individuals and their families while providing a compassionate space for clients to discuss their challenges. You will leverage your expertise to guide them toward healthier coping mechanisms and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to foster a therapeutic alliance and build trust with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients' personal experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage client caseload and administrative duties effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with diverse populations or specific expertise in mood disorders and related interventions will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques is also an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
