Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring them to meet individual goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients' recovery.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing treatment options and promoting effective self-care practices.
• Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about current research and innovative approaches in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic practices.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities for personal and career growth.
• Actively advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to reduce stigma associated with seeking mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on clients experiencing various mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. Your expertise will be essential in guiding these individuals through their challenges, promoting recovery and resilience while addressing the unique aspects of their experiences.

Qualifications

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required for this position.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish trusting therapy relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' challenges and experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for effectively managing workload and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a community health setting or with a diverse client population is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices is advantageous.
• Additional certifications or training in specific therapeutic modalities will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
