Our community health clinic atmosphere emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and ongoing education. As part of our virtual team, you will interact with colleagues regularly through virtual meetings, ensuring consistent communication and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their frequency, severity, and duration.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in partnership with clients that focus on their individual goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment strategies tailored to mood disorders.
  • Engage clients and their families by providing educational resources on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Track and document clients’ progress accurately, making necessary modifications to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to facilitate an integrated treatment approach.
  • Stay informed on emerging research and best practices for mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client records and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines while documenting client interactions.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings for continuous learning and improvement in treatment practices.
  • Advocate for clients to promote awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders in the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals coping with mood disorders, which can include a spectrum of emotional and psychological challenges. Our patient population is diverse, comprising all age groups and backgrounds, and facing unique life circumstances that may affect their mental health. This role will require you to employ sensitivity and adaptability to meet varying client needs and effectively contribute to their healing journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
  • Two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly specializing in mood disorders.
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatment methods, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • Strong understanding of psycho-pharmacology and effective collaboration practices with psychiatric colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

While a solid foundation in mood disorders is essential, we prefer candidates with demonstrable success in improving client outcomes in these specific areas. Familiarity with current research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment will enhance your effectiveness in this role, allowing you to provide the highest quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
