Single Pathway Psychiatry is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Worcester, Massachusetts. This full-time, remote position is ideal for a clinical professional specializing in mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety. As a key member of our practice, you will leverage your expertise to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions, all while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient well-being.

Work Environment

Our work environment emphasizes flexibility and support, allowing therapists to provide care remotely while accessing resources that facilitate effective treatment. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their specific needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders.
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress consistently throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for all clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, attending case consultations and team meetings to stay informed about best practices and advancements in mood disorder treatment.
  • Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, contributing to the de-stigmatization of mental health issues in the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety-related conditions, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and perspectives. You will be instrumental in guiding these clients toward holistic recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • Two or more years of post-licensure experience specifically in treating mood disorders is preferred.
  • Proficient in implementing evidence-based treatment modalities like CBT and DBT.
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacological treatments and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatric professionals.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits
