Summary
- The Environmental / Gypsum Stack group has an immediate opening for a heavy equipment/Gyp stack pond operator. Currently, a progression system to move up to OM4 is utilized.
- The purpose of this position is to help manage the incoming gypsum slurry and associated components of the gyp stack to ensure the phosphoric acid plant can run optimally and the integrity of the gyp stack is monitored and maintained. Track Hoes, loaders, and dozers are used daily to build and maintain ponded areas. HDPE pipin, and Roadways on the gyp stack.
- Position is a Monday-Friday day shift rotating 10-hour schedule with occasional weekend work and extended hours as needed.
Typical Education
- High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
Relevant Experience
- 3-5 years relevant heavy equipment operation experience (front-end loader, dozer, long reach excavator and fuel truck are used daily)
Other Information
Additional skills and experience that will be considered are as follows:
- Heavy equipment maintenance experience may be combined and considered along with operation experience to meet requirement
- Knowledge of overall gyp stack operation a plus
- Maintenance experience with HDPE piping and lining systems a plus
- Knowledge of TOPCON GPS a plus
