This position sits within the Company's Global Communications and Brand and is responsible for managing the Company's global social media strategy and delivery, and global media monitoring and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail with an eye for accuracy, completeness, and brand compliance as well as deep functional and operational expertise in social media and digital communication trends. This includes experience in the development and/or management of a broad social media environment for a large organization with a variety of social media platforms.Success in this position will include the use of social media and media monitoring to drive awareness and traffic to other owned media for Simplot, inviting and facilitating audiences to engage with the company brand. The digital communications manager will help strengthen and enhance Simplot's reputation in the communities where it operates by facilitating social media engagement and other public relations tools. They will also ensure awareness of trends and sentiment related to Simplot and the Simplot Brand by maintaining a robust social and traditional media monitoring program.
