What You Will Do:
- Provide daily warehouse supervisor oversight of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and material handling operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of finished goods and materials within the manufacturing warehouse
- Ensure accurate preparation and validation of shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and manifests
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, material handling standards, and plant safety initiatives
- Maintain forklift safety audits and oversee lift truck operations and preventive maintenance schedules
- Manage inventory rotation, dunnage inventory, and space utilization within the warehouse
- Coordinate with production, inventory control, inside sales, and plant planning to improve manufacturing workflow
- Supervise warehouse staffing levels, work schedules, and daily workflow
- Provide employee training, coaching, performance feedback, and documentation as required
- Assist corporate and plant continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and sanitation standards
- Prepare and manage departmental budget requirements and anticipate future material handling needs
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and international shipments, as applicable
- Apply union contract requirements, where applicable
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management within a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving processes, inventory control, and material handling practices
- Experience working with safety programs and compliance in a manufacturing warehouse environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, bar code technology, and inventory systems; AS400 experience is a plus
