Key Responsibilities
  • Implement mental health therapy techniques tailored to individual and family needs, addressing diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, crafting personalized initial discharge plans that outline treatment pathways.
  • Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions, adhering to the established treatment plans and adjusting them based on client progress.
  • Develop and maintain client treatment plans, coordinating additional services as needed, and ensuring they are regularly updated.
  • Document all therapy services provided in accordance with professional standards, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
  • Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent support to each client throughout their therapeutic journey.
  • Engage actively in treatment team meetings, collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to enhance service delivery.
  • Exhibit a compassionate, professional demeanor toward all clients, addressing any concerns or complaints with sensitivity and urgency.
  • Prioritize patient safety in all interactions and interventions.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the dynamic needs of our clients and the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Active state or national licensure for mental health therapy, specifically as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Two years of relevant experience in the mental health field, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with both children and adults is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and a thorough understanding of various mental health issues will be advantageous. Candidates who have experience addressing family dynamics and relationship issues will particularly excel in this position.

Sharpman Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
