The Department of Finance at the Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track contract faculty position beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across a range of finance areas, as determined by departmental needs.
Mentor students participating in the CFA Research Challenge and advise finance majors.
Contribute to service activities at the department, school, university, and professional levels.
Maintain a strong on-campus presence in South Orange and actively engage in high-impact student activities, including recruiting, teaching, mentoring, and academic program development.

Required Qualifications:

A graduate degree in finance or a related field from an accredited, reputable institution.
A demonstrated record of effective teaching, or strong potential for excellence in teaching.
Evidence of the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and members of the professional finance community.
A genuine commitment to collegiality, student well-being, and academic excellence.
Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of appointment.

Desired Qualifications:

A strong record of collaborative teaching, student recruitment, mentoring, and supporting job placement.
Extensive industry experience in finance; possession of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential is highly preferred.

Salary Range:

$77,912-$86,569

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt

Physical Demands: General Office Environment
