Position Overview

Sentara Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide remote counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, and families navigating complex dynamics. Your contributions will directly aid clients in achieving healthier lifestyles and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and treatment of co-occurring disorders.
  • Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices pertinent to substance abuse recovery.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to motivate clients through counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices.
  • Previous work in community health settings, particularly in underserved populations.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
