Sentara Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide remote counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Key Responsibilities

• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients by establishing trust and rapport, which are crucial for effective therapy.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders, focusing on individual, couple, and family dynamics, using evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Create tailored treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patient needs, history, and circumstances.
• Conduct therapy sessions via video conferencing platforms, ensuring a safe and engaging virtual environment for clients.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to additional specialists when specialized support is needed.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, and families navigating complex dynamics. Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and treatment of co-occurring disorders.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices pertinent to substance abuse recovery.
• Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to motivate clients through counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices.
• Previous work in community health settings, particularly in underserved populations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
