Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Group Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging group therapy meetings where clients share personal experiences and support one another, fostering a sense of community and shared growth.
  • Conduct Individual Therapy: Provide tailored, empathetic counseling to assist clients in exploring their feelings, behaviors, and thought patterns to develop effective coping strategies.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
  • Monitor Progress: Utilize assessment tools and continuous feedback methods to evaluate and document clients’ progress in therapy, making adjustments as needed along the way.
  • Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with fellow mental health professionals, ensuring cohesive care by communicating regularly and consulting on complex cases to achieve optimal outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Texas is mandatory.
  • A background in providing mental health treatment, with experience in outpatient settings preferred.
  • A collaborative attitude, driven by a passion for facilitating positive change in clients' lives.
  • Strong clinical skills including expertise in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
  • An annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
