Key Responsibilities

• Group Therapy Facilitation: You will lead engaging and therapeutic group sessions where clients can share their experiences, learn from one another, and build community connections.
• Individual Counseling: Provide personalized therapy sessions that encourage clients to explore their feelings and develop effective coping strategies tailored to their specific situations.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to formulate individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences.
• Progress Monitoring: Use various assessment tools to evaluate and track client progress, ensuring that treatment objectives remain aligned with their evolving needs.
• Team Collaboration: Engage regularly with fellow clinicians and support staff to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and maintain a holistic approach to client management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with young adults facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Your role will be crucial in providing them with a safe space to express themselves, learn essential life skills, and develop resilience in the face of personal challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field, including counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure is required.
• Clinical experience working with individuals experiencing mental health or mood disorders, preferably in outpatient settings.
• A collaborative mindset that values teamwork and shared goals in fostering positive change among clients.
• Proficient clinical skills, including knowledge of motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in group therapy facilitation and a strong command of therapy methodologies.
• Prior work within a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Familiarity with treatment planning and assessment tools.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
