Work Environment

This full-time LPC role is adaptable, with the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to balance your professional commitments with personal life effectively. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, allowing our counselors to dedicate their evenings and weekends to self-care and personal time. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions that foster mutual support among clients, guiding them to share experiences and learn collectively.
• Provide Individual Therapy: Offer tailored counseling sessions that address the unique needs of clients, helping them explore their thoughts and emotions and develop actionable coping strategies.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create focused and individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences, ensuring their input is valued.
• Monitor Progress: Regularly track and assess client progress utilizing various evaluation tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with other mental health professionals, sharing insights and contributing to comprehensive care strategies to optimize client outcomes.

Our client demographic primarily includes young adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and transitional difficulties. Qualifications

• Education: A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy is required.
• Licensure: Candidates must hold a current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in evidence-based therapies, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
• Collaborative Mindset: Must possess a team-oriented attitude, with a commitment to fostering a culture of positive change.

Preferred Experience

• Field Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience working with clients suffering from mental health or mood disorders, preferably in residential or outpatient settings.
• Community Engagement: Familiarity with community health initiatives and resources in Georgia.
